INFORMATION
Seeking to become a legal practitioner is not the only reason for studying for a legal qualification. You might already be working in a law-related field and want to enhance your legal knowledge and professional standing. Your career path might lie in the commercial or financial professions, where legal qualifications are highly valued not only for specific knowledge of law but also because of the transferable skills that come with the study of law such as mental dexterity and problem-solving abilities. You might be a special issue campaigner, lobbyist, or might want to find out more about how law works and possibly go on to higher academic studies. On successful completion of the programme you will have acquired not only the foundational and specialist knowledge, which is necessary for you to start your career as a lawyer, but also the transferable skills and competences which are necessary in modern sectors of the services market such as public relations, communication, and NGOs.
