Your visitation to the website www.studyingreece.gr (hereafter ¨the website ¨) is subject to the terms set forth in the present Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service. The present Privacy Policy comes into effect on the 30/06/2019 and is communicated according to article 12 of the Regulation 679/2016 (GDPR) of the European Parliament and the Council.

According to the General Data Protection Regulation of the 14th of April 2016, the current Privacy Policy describes the types of personal data we collect, the way we use them and with whom we share them. Moreover, our Privacy Policy, describes the steps we have taken to protect your personal data, how to exercise your rights and how to contact us.

1.Collection of Personal Data and how they are used
The collection of personal data occurs during your visitation to the website. With the term personal data we mean “any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person whose identity is known or can be ascertained”, like his name, address, email address, telephone number etc. The personal data that we process are provided to us either directly from you on your own accord or are indirectly collected through the website.

2. Voluntary provision of Personal Data
You have the ability to provide us with your personal data. Your provision of personal data through the website is by no means mandatory, unless you indicate differently. For the creation of your account the registration of specific personal data is necessary for identification purposes, no more than the absolutely essential for the fulfillment of that specific purpose. In the event you opt for not providing  specific data, this can affect your browsing to the website or the services that we can offer you.

3. Personal data collected with the consent of the data subject- Expression of interest form
For the expression of your interest on seminars or educational programs you need to submit an application through a template in a platform of studyinGrecce.gr. During the filling of the application for Seminars or Educational Courses you will need to provide with your freely given consent some of your personal data, as indicatively, your name and surname, your phone number, your telephone number and your email address. In these cases, the educational institution has requested form studyinGreece.gr to collect the information of your application to the website.
Your personal data is stored in the website’s data base and shall be communicated to the educational institution, for the completion of the abovementioned purposes only. They are maintained for an amount of time adequate for the fulfilment of the website’s obligations towards the educational institution, and in any event are being erased after 3 years form their registration. Personal data that you submit shall be processed only for purposes pertaining to the attendance of educational programs that are provided through the website, that include the communication of your personal information to the corresponding educational institution and communication with you. The access of the educational institutions to your personal data is strictly restricted to personal data of subjects that expressed their interest for that particular workshop or educational course and are notified to them as Data Recipients according to the definition of article 4 paragraph 9 of the EU Regulation 679/2016. They are required to secure the data and process them exclusively for reasons of attendance of the workshop or educational course. In case of any contact with a potential educational institute, please refer to their Privacy Statement for more information on their practices. Moreover, studyinGreece.gr reserves the right to provide the educational institutes accumulated information (general information of the users of it’s services)   for the performance of the website, such as the number of visitors, the country of residence, their age, sex or linguistic preferences.
StudyinGreece maintains all your personal data for the excusive use of the educational institutes. All personal data for the expression of interest form are deducted or made anonymous after a reasonable time after the completion of the seminar or educational course, and in any event are being erased after a period of 3 years from their registration. The, now, anonymous information and the accumulated data shall be preserved for statistical purposes, like the documentation of the forms of expression of interest that we received. StudyinGreece shall not use the personal data that you provided during the filling of your application form for purposes beyond the provision to the educational institute of the ability to receive your application or to manage it.
You have the right at any time to modify your registration information to the data base of the website, by following the corresponding link. You also can at any time invalidate your registration to the website by following the corresponding link. Upon the submission of your request for erasure we will delete within  reasonable amount of time, and in any event within 1 month for receiving your request all your personal data, with future sway unless we are obliged to retain them according to standing legislation (for tax reasons for example). We will  confirm through email the invalidation and erasure of your account.

4. Newsletters
You have the ability to register to the corresponding service of the website in order to receive newsletters, notifications on workshops or educational courses and promotional emails for the website and it’s associates, with your explicit consent to the processing of your personal data. In order to register we may request some information, like your email address  and sections that may be of your interest. We use the information you provide us with solely to communicate our services. We also use the information you provide to us to adjust our notifications to your preferences.
At any time if you so wish it and at no cost to you, you can unsubscribe form the service by choosing the corresponding option you will find in our email message (“unsubscribe”) and not receive thereafter newsletters, notifications on workshops and educational courses and promotional messages by the website.
The website retains at it’s discretion the right to accept or deny the registration to this particular service, as well as the potential deletion of any user, particularly in case of potential of bad, illicit or illegal use form the latter.

5. Automatic Collection of Personal Data – Cookies and Log files
Similarly with other companies, our company uses cookies and log files  to enhance the provided services and for the better comprehension of it’s use (by you). Log files are server files that are automatically created when a user visits the website. Cookies are small text files which are installed by websites to your computer’s hard drive. Each cookie has a unique code, which is used to identify the computer every time a use visits the website again.

6. Personal data that we share
We do not sell, trade or disclose in any other way the personal data of the website visitors, with the exception of the cases provided for in the present document. With the provision of your personal data to us through the website, you allow us to use them for the above indicated purposes.
We also have the ability to share your personal data with service providers we cooperate with so that they can execute functions and services on our behalf in the context of purposes of the current Privacy Policy. Those specific service providers are bound by contract to act exclusively by our command and to ensure the protection and security of said data to the desired extent. We do not allow them to use data for their own purposes or transfer them to third parties unless that is necessary for the execution of services or functions for our company or to address to legal demands. For instance the company does not allow service providers to use data for commercial purposes.
We retain the ability to disclose your personal data (i) if prescribed by law or regards a judicial judgment, or (ii) when a reasonable request has been made by law enforcement agencies. In the event of sale or partial/total acquisition of the company or any of it’s assets we retain the right to transfer all your personal data that remain in our procession. If the above sale, modification or transfer occurs, we shall attempt to demand form the acquiring party to process the personal data you proved through the website in accordance with the present Privacy Policy. If you do not wish any further processing of your personal data form the acquiring party you will have to come in contact with it.  

7. Rights and Choices
You have the right to be informed on your personal data and have access to them by using the contact information in the section «Contact» according to article 15 of Regulation 679/2016. Upon a request for access to your data, we will comply with your request as the law demands, and in any case within a month from receiving your request.
In the event that the data that have been collected are false, inaccurate or out of season, we will rectify them within a reasonable amount of time upon your request according to article 16 of Regulation 679/2016.
You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by the company at any time for any substantial and legitimate reasons according to article 21 of Regulation 679/2016, or to request the transfer of your data to another data processor (right of data portability) unless otherwise prescribed by law.
If you accept the processing of your personal data, you can at any time withdraw your consent by using the contact information in the section “Contact”, or alternatively by pressing the corresponding link at the end of the current page. If you decide to withdraw your consent, we will engage in the anonymization of your personal data in our database and to the erasure of any reference to your name, with future effectiveness, in accordance with the right to erasure (right to be forgotten) of the data subject, article 17  of Regulation 679/2016, without affecting the legitimacy of the data processing that occurred before the erasure. Your erasure from the database results in your erasure from the newsletter list of the company as well.
In any case the data subject retains the right to submit a complaint to the regulatory authority, Data Protection Authority (Kifisias 1-3, P.C. 11523, Athens, +30 210 6475600, complaints@dpa.gr).

8. Data Transfers
The company mostly collects, processes and uses your personal data in the context of the European Union. In case of any transfer of your personal data outside the EU or the use of services by providers outside the EU, we will take all necessary measures to ensure the compliance with the applicable legislation for data protection, and in particular the legal demands or adequate protection regarding data transfers outside the EU.

9. Record Retention
The company retains your personal data only for as long as is needed for the fulfilment of the purposes for which the data has been collected  unless otherwise pescribed by law. When they are no longer necessary for the purposes they where collected, they are erases, excluded from access or made anonymous.

10. Links to other websites
We provide links to other website, beyond or company, for your own comfort and information. Those websites operate independently, and as long as they do not cooperate with the company, are not under our control. The shall probably apply their own privacy policy, which we advise you to consider prior to visiting any link for other websites.

11. Security
We maintain the necessary administrative, technical and material means of protection in order to ensure the security of your personal data from accidental or illegal destruction, incidental loss, unauthorized modification, transmission or access, abuse and any other illegal form of processing of personal data in our possession according to the provisions of Regulation 679/2016.

12. Updates
The company retains the right to change or modify part of the present Policy at any time and with no prior notice to the users. You are asked to regularly check the Policy so that you remain informed for any changes or updates to the Policy. Regardless, in the event of major changes to the Privacy Policy, a notification shall be published in the website homepage and all changes shall come into effect 15 after the notification. Th date after which the Privacy Policy shall take effect will be noted below, as well as which edition has been made public to the website.
