Aims

The University of Bolton BSc (Hons) in Computing:

• provides a broad education in computing and business information systems.
• It is the central course in the computing group of degrees, incorporating options from both BSc (Hons) Computing & Website Development and BSc (Hons) Computer Networks & Security and therefore the most flexible choice of Computer Science programmes.
• Emphasizes on Software Engineering, Web Technologies, Algorithms and Databases.
• Graduates will be immediately useful to employers for designing and constructing software systems.
• Involves working on fascinating technology projects, from simple web page creations to full automated communications platforms, robotics and software driven electronics.

Duration
This is a 3-year programme for candidates with a good mark in your High School Certificate and a good standard of English (IELTS 6.0 or a recognized equivalent).
