BSc in Computer Science - Internet Computing

Applicants can be admitted to the programme as long as they possess a high school certificate (apolytirion) or IB Diploma or equivalent.

Good knowledge of the English Language is required.

The advancement of the Internet has revolutionised the way in which globally distributed, rapidly changing and collaborative industries such as banking, entertainment, healthcare, and manufacturing, to name a few, operate. This has created a great demand for specialists with an in depth knowledge and skills on Internet Technologies.

Students of this programme are exposed to the theoretical foundations of the Computer Science field, gain an understanding of the principles that underlie development of systems, apply their knowledge on real life projects and acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to cope with the astonishing rate of change of the specific discipline, with a main focus on internet based applications and the enabling Internet, mobile and web development technologies.
