Why choose the BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy?
Description The BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy programme, aims at the education of physiotherapists in the fields of prevention, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of patients, from diseases and injuries. The structure of the programme promotes the systematic approach of a broad range of clinical cases and the cooperation among health professionals. The continuous formation of the specialized educational personnel ensures the harmonization of the programme with the modern international scientific and educational trends. The main aim of the programme is the education of the students in the science of Physiotherapy, in the acquisition of clinical skills and the promotion of a critical and investigative spirit. The School of Physiotherapy of Metropolitan College is a member of the ENPHE network (European Network of Physiotherapy in Higher Education). The purpose of ENPHE is to improve quality in education, research and knowledge through the exchange of information between educational institutions in Europe, but always in accordance with the imperatives of the World Confederation of Physical Therapy (WCPT). ENPHE started its activity in 1995 and now more than 183 Physical Therapy schools from 29 counties in Europe are members. ΕΝΡΗΕ organizes a conference on an annual basis in one of the member countries, where academic staff and programme directors share experiences and knowledge on educational and research issues. In addition, educational seminars are organized annually, addressed to the academic staff of Physiotherapy from the member-schools.
