New York College, one of the largest and fastest-growing multinational educational organizations in Europe, with a dynamic presence in Athens, Thessaloniki, and Prague (Czech Republic), was founded in Athens in 1989 in collaboration with the largest university in the United States, the State University of New York (SUNY).
New York College offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across 6 academic schools, awarding 80 distinct degree titles in partnership with distinguished public universities in the United Kingdom and the United States: the American public institution, State University of New York - Empire State University, and the British public institutions, the University of Greenwich and the University of Greater Manchester.
Furthermore, New York College is the only Greek college to have established a non-state university outside of Greece—the University of New York in Prague—located in the heart of Europe, within the Czech Republic.
In the Global Ranking of Educational Institutions in Greece, New York College was classified as one of the top two Greek colleges, according to a study conducted by the Quality Assurance Unit (MODIP) of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Kathimerini newspaper, issue no. 29,810). The New York College Educational Group is accredited by the British Accreditation Council (BAC) as a Higher Education Institution. Notably, New York College is the sole Greek educational group to be a member of the UN's United Nations Global Compact. The Global Compact Network Hellas serves as the Local Network of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) in Greece.
